Cambridge Lifeskills

Cambridge Lifeskills - Supporting Young People Through Counselling

Cambridge Lifeskills provides free professional counselling for tamariki and rangatahi aged 5 to 15 who attend public schools in the Cambridge district.

Since 1992, their qualified counsellors have worked alongside young people, often including family and whānau as part of the support. Counselling usually takes place within the school environment, making it easier for children to access help in a familiar and comfortable setting.

Their service is an important part of the support network available to Cambridge students, helping young people through challenges such as anxiety, grief, loss, family changes, friendships, and other difficult life experiences.

Funds raised through the Rotary Cambridge Garden Festival help ensure local children and young people can access caring, professional support when they need it most.
